The Esquiline Venus is a full-figure sculpture in the Capitoline Museum. The figure is most likely preparing for her ritual bath, as evidenced by the vase and cloth by her side. The stylization of her head differs from the realistic portrayal of her body which resembles art of the earlier Hellenistic period.
